Terms
Terms & Conditions
Version 2026-10-18
These terms apply when you request a quote, book a pickup or use dcdumpsllc.com. "DC Dumps", "we" and "us" mean DC Dumps LLC, a junk removal and hauling company based in Centreville, Virginia. "You" means the person requesting the work. You agree to these terms when you check the box on our quote form.
1. Quotes
- Quotes are free and you don't have to accept them.
- We price the job from the photos and description you send. The price we email you covers what was shown and described.
- Nothing is charged until you approve the quote, and you pay after the work is done.
- If the items on site are different from what was shown, the price can change. For example: more or bigger items, heavy materials like concrete, tile, dirt or roofing, extra flights of stairs, or items we couldn't see in the photos. We'll tell you the new price before we load anything, and you can say no.
- The prices on our website are starting prices. Your emailed quote is the price for your job.
- Demolition jobs (sheds, decks, fences, playsets, hot tubs) are quoted job by job and may need a look in person before we can give a price.
2. What we take and don't take
- We haul furniture, appliances, mattresses, electronics, yard waste, construction debris, household junk and cleanouts.
- We don't take hazardous materials, such as paint, chemicals, fuel, propane tanks, asbestos, medical waste or anything that leaks or smells of chemicals. If we find them, we'll leave them behind.
- You confirm that everything you ask us to take is yours to get rid of, or that you're allowed to dispose of it (for example, as the property manager, landlord or estate representative).
- Check drawers, pockets, boxes and bags before we arrive. Once items are loaded, we can't promise to get them back, and we aren't responsible for anything left inside them.
- Once loaded, items become ours to donate, recycle or take to a licensed disposal facility.
3. Scheduling, changes and cancellations
- Your pickup is booked once we've confirmed the date and time with you.
- To change or cancel, use Track a request or contact us, and give us as much notice as you can.
- We may need to move a pickup because of weather, truck problems, road conditions or safety. If that happens, we'll contact you to set a new time.
4. Access and your property
- Make sure we can safely reach the items and park nearby. Tell us about gate codes, stairs, tight spots and parking rules in the access notes.
- If you won't be home, give us access and tell us exactly which items go. We'll only take what you've listed.
- For demolition, you're responsible for disconnecting gas, water and electric to the structure, and for any HOA approval or permit the job needs. We'll tell you if anything else is needed when we quote.
- We work carefully in and around your home. If something gets damaged, tell us right away so we can look at it and make it right.
- We aren't responsible for damage caused by a structure or item that was already unsafe, or for wear like scuffs on a path we were asked to use.
5. Payment
- Payment is due when the job is done.
- We accept cash, card, Zelle, Venmo, Cash App and checks.
- We can email you a receipt or an invoice.
6. Offers and discounts
- Each offer comes with its own terms and dates. For example: 20% off the quoted price for pickups booked by the date shown.
- Unless an offer says otherwise, only one discount applies per job.
- A discount comes off the quoted price and can't be exchanged for cash.
7. Photos
We use your photos to quote and plan the job. After the job is done, we may post before-and-after photos of the junk, but never with your name or address. Our privacy policy explains what we collect and how long we keep it.
8. Emails
- We'll email you about your request: quotes, confirmations, reminders, time changes and receipts.
- If you leave the offers box checked on the quote form, we'll also send occasional offers and tips.
- Every offer email has an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time. Opting out doesn't affect emails about a job you've booked.
9. Our responsibility
To the extent the law allows, our total responsibility for any claim about a job is limited to the amount you paid for that job. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have that can't be limited by law.
10. Other terms
- These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia.
- We may update these terms. The version you agreed to when you booked applies to that booking.
